Participating

Last Friday night I had a blast celebrating my friend’s birthday with pinch of good nostalgia to flavor it up. I couldn’t party all night though, because I had promised to help out in house renovations. So the next morning, despite the crazy heat I tied my hair up and started pulling out some old wall papers. Who knew that it could be so much fun?

Indoors

A surprise summer flu caught up with me, and suddenly I found myself watching discovery channel at noon indoors, when a hot and beautiful day is floating around just behind my window. Doesn't that seem unfair, right? Well, this will pass and I will be better than ever soon, hopefully!

Sunshine

Sun has made a comeback into my life, and this is a tribute for that!  (Do I ever talk about anything else except the Sun? But wait, why should I, it’s so wonderfuuul)
So, I saw these very cute and sunny pictures on Jak&Jil blog, and basically fell in love. And I was having a picnic lunch yesterday on the soft grass bathing in beautiful fresh spring sunlight and I can only hope I looked as buoyant and effortless as this girl. Probably not though, because I didn’t have my sunglasses on and I was squinting like a maniac. So I guess I looked more like a little mole, or a really happy kitten. Purrr.

Spring, are you coming soon?

I have to say, that I got maybe a little too excited about yesterdays hint of sun. I can't wait it to be spring already! Or, dare I say it, summer! To be able to wear high heels (not to mention sandals! In bright colours!) without the fear of secret ice lurking behind the corner, or to be able to just go outside without spending ten minutes in my little vestibule putting on my hard core winter gear, woolly socks, hats, snow shoes, scarves, baby polar bears, mittens, flare guns and to stop carrying a hot water bottle around like a purse.
Oh, I hope those days are soon here!
